Absolutely amazing experience, Highly recommend this place. My girlfriend and I took the paragliding course and within a couple hours we were both in the air. Gerry and Claudio are great instructors and will take very good care of you. Stop by and learn to fly or let them take you up for a nice relaxing flight. Will be returning again

My husband and I travelled to Drayton Valley twice this summer to spend time learning and flying at Air Adventure. The first time was to learn how to be tow operators. It was clear to us that Claudio was an excellent and very knowledgeable instructor. Patient, providing positive feedback and good critique on how to improve. We went back a second time, wanting to improve on our thermaling technique and spot landings. Again, lots of great instruction, advice, feedback and encouragement. Claudio and Gerry run a first class operation!

My BF and I did Paragliding today and had an amazing time here, everyone was soo amazing and felt like family with them. Claudia was the best he was soo calm and made us feel soo safe, also very experienced. He couldn’t take my Bf up too high because of his weight but still took him twice so make it fair!Definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back!!

OMG - what an adventure! As a wheelchair user, I was overjoyed to learn I could actually do this! Gerry, Diane and Claudio went out of their way to ensure the transition from my chair to the trike was safe, smooth and fun! The flight was amazing and I had 100% complete confidence in Claudio, the pilot. Bucket list #3 checked off!I HIGHLY recommend anyone - old, young, abled or mobility challenged to contact these pros.

I went for a short flight in the ultralight with Claudio, the instructor, and it was great. We climbed to about 5000 feet. I got a chance to use the controls to fly the ultralight. We shut off the engine and glided back to the runway for a perfect 3 point landing. Claudio explained everything he was doing so there were no surprises. The flight school is only 15 minutes from Drayton Valley right on the pavement.

On Sept 10 we had a great experience with Air Adventures. We were 45 minutes late and yet Gerry and Claudio were most accomodating creating a safe and memorable flyte experience for my wifes birthday. Ended up choosing Air Adventure to do my paramotor training over 4 other flight instruction options. The main reason was because Air Adventure is unique in that the flight school is on a private airfield that is immaculately taken care of by the owners - Gerry and his wife.The facility is really world class which truly sets Air Adventure apart from its competitors. It includes a hangar to store your gear during training, a classroom, power hook up onsite for camping and a firepit, an outdoor covered kitchen area, and a games room. Most importantly though, golf carts are used to minimize the amount of time walking up and down the field. In order to get comfortable with takeoffs and landings a winch system is used so that this skill can be learned prior to taking flight with the paramotor (schools that don't use a winch system require takeoff the first time using the paramotor). The paramotor instructor (Claudio) is very experienced and was a pleasure to take instruction from. Be sure to ask him for gear advice. Don't forget to ask whether you should opt for an electric start or not. :PThe only improvement I would suggest would relate to the actual application process for the Ultralight Pilot permit and booklet. Transport Canada regulates the licensing for paramotors and their pilots and it is an absolute convoluted pain in the a$$ to get the applications complete. Since the flight school is familiar with this process it would alleviate a great deal of frustration if the school could apply on behalf of the students.NOTE: I did not receive any kind of checklist for items needed to prepare or help with the Ultralight applications. Please provide these to students going forward at a minimum.Thanks for everything!

Whether you want to become an ultra light pilot, have some fun or cross another thing off your bucket list, AIR ADVENTURE Flying school can definitely help you do that.It is located near Drayton Valley with a relaxing and picturesque environment. The school has a beautiful and well-maintained camp where you can stay overnight just for $25 per night. Gerry and his wife are wonderful hostsThe school instructor Claudio offers great flying lessons for Gyroplane, ultralight trike, paramotor and paragliding. The prices are very reasonable, and you can actually finish everything right there without traveling elsewhere for the tests.

This would have to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Learning how to fly is something I've always wanted to do since I was a child, but I was scared away from the price tag that I was told of. However, when I came across Paramotoring and the other Ultra light air crafts, I was shocked at how inexpensive it was to learn and own your own craft. Air Adventure was able to help me out with all of this, from recommending what type of equipment to go with to high quality training taught by their teachers. Claudio is extremely experienced so learning from him and his teaching progression allowed me to feel safe through the whole schooling. The school was very well equipped with clean washroom facilities, a clubhouse to hang out in when the weather was bad, a shop to tune up the equipment and more. We were able to get a ton of training in thanks to the assistants at the school who would pick us up on golf carts to bring us back so we didn't have to haul our gear the all the way back which helped us get at least 4x the amount of flights in if there wasn't that help. The high speed winch let us learn the basics of the controls before strapping the motor to our back so we were able to learn without jumping into the deep end.There aren't many suggestions I could give to improve anything at this school, the staff were all friendly and met some new friends there. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get into flying as this is probably the best starting point for anyone that wants to get airborne!
