At first I was very skeptical about getting into the sport of powered paragliding. However, after meeting Darek that all changed. His vast knowledge along with his calm demeanor and patience made for a great learning experience. I now feel like a confident pilot taking to the skies. I would recommend giving him a call!

Paragliding and PPG are the simplest, least expensive, uncomplicated forms of flight around - but good training is essential if you want to truly enjoy this sport and avoid bad habits and costly mistakes. Darek and Randy run a well organized and in depth course during which you will learn all the best practices good habits you need to make you a responsible pilot . If you're dedicated enough, and the weather cooperates it's not uncommon to complete this course in a few weeks to a couple of months. I got in touch with Darek in the first week of October - pretty much the end of the 2017 flying season fully knowing I might not make it this year. But I got lucky with a few weekends of good weather. Did my first solo in early Nov and completed my course on Dec 3, just shy of 2 months. A huge shout out to Darek and Randy for helping me realise my dream of powered flight.

Highly recommended. Darek took my wife and I through ground handling all the way to our first flight. He guided us through navigating Transport Canada's regulations to fly legally, and through ground school. Looking back, I see Darek did a great job analyzing our flying style and our lifestyle and helped us choose exactly the gear we would have chosen for ourselves, if we had known then what we know now. Darek Magusiak is a five star flight instructor. Throughout my training, he remained punctual, patient, and professional. I started training entirely with his gear and then transitioned to my own equipment, which he helped me select and purchase. Highly recommended, Darek has been helping me with my Vittorazi engine, Parajet Zenith frame and Dudek paragliders for more than 5 years now!
